When I got married, I did many things the way I wanted. And I found some great info on the internet, and knew where the best bargains could be found, there were just some things that I had my own, unique ideas about. Since I’ve always been of independent spirit, my husband-to-be was not that shocked in the least. I saved a fortune on my wedding gown because I chose one that was a few seasons old, and I considered my guests before myself. I even made my own wedding veil.

Working out a budget for your wedding is top priority and should be discussed as soon as the date is set. You need to decide if you want a formal or informal ceremony or something in between. This factor will play a part in the cost, of course. Tradition has set that the father of the bride should bear the burden of the wedding ceremony while the groom’s family foots the bill for the reception. However in today’s world, there are no longer hard and fast rules of who pays for what, but there are some general guidelines that may help you decide how to divide expenses.

As a jeweler, I’ve forever been captivated by the diverse trends in men’s wedding bands. Selling men wedding bands is a good deal more trivial than it is for women. This might seem odd at first, after all, for every woman’s wedding band, there is a man’s to go with it, correct? Well, as a matter of fact it isn’t that simple. It is true that, on average, a jeweler will sell men wedding rings in equal number to those sold to women, but the man always takes longer making a decision.

Hiring a wedding photographer is usually a fairly straightforward matter. Most photographers, after all, have references, a portfolio, and a distinguishing style that’s easy to see. You can decide what kind of wedding photos you desire by seeing what is available. Do you staged one that look perfect, or more natural and spontaneous ones? Do you want to take most of your wedding photographs prior to the actual event, or do you want the photographer to capture everyone in action. Meeting a couple professional photographers, you can easily make a decision and hire somebody who has a style you like.
Getting wedding movies made, however, can be much harder. There are so many wedding video choices to make that it can be bewildering. As a matter of fact, not everyone hires professionals to do their wedding videos. With wedding photographs, you see, the key is to get a limited number of perfect pictures. You want a small album filled with photos that perfectly capture the events. With a wedding video, however, there are many different choices to make.

When you make the decision to have a wedding with attendants, there’s lots to consider. For instance, the maid (or matron) of honor has a lot of responsibilities. One of the most important things that this attendant executes is the bridal shower. This is not simple task. Included in her bridal shower responsibilities is the task of making or ordering wedding shower invitations.

Most men fear giving anniversary gifts. My best friend David is a perfect example. He begins worrying about what to give his wife almost a month prior to the anniversary. He stresses out so, just thinking about it. He can’t even enjoy the celebration. For me, the gift isn’t important, it’s any gesture that I feel shows my wife that I love her. I know that whatever I get for her, she will likely love. Although finding anniversary gifts are sometimes a little mind boggling, it’s usually easy for me. With some creativity, your anniversary can become a celebrated, bonding experience.

Wedding bouquets are more personalized than ever before. They range from the classic all-white formal to very unique designs boasting a variety of colors and styles. Some of the most popular and diverse bouquets are: The Nosegay-which is a round cluster of flowers that vary in sophistication and color. The Nosegay got it’s name back in the 14th century, when it was used to mask unpleasant odors. Nosegays can vary in sophistication and are therefore a good choice for any wedding.
Then there are hand-tied bouquets that the florist can create by wrapping the stems of flowers, foliage and accessories together. There are many important rites to celebrate when a couple takes part in a Jewish wedding ceremony. The affair is meant to be a
cheerful one but due respect for Judaic custom must be bound to and there is a great deal of symbolism to reflect that. In
this faith, a marriage ceremony represents a fresh beginning for the new couple.
The bride is known in Hebrew as the kallah and the groom is called the chatan. The Jewish wedding and Yom Kippur share many
tradition similarities. Fasting is a necessity in both and the couple start their fast at the break of day and end it after
the wedding. The chatan wears a kittel, which is a traditional white robe, also worn on Yom Kippur.
